It is in the creative industry that one can truly tap into the minds of young creative professionals and give them the global exposure they need. To leverage this, the Times Group launched Young Spikes—a challenge that takes place during the Spikes Asia Festival. This opens doors for young, creative geniuses to make their mark across Asia pacific while helping them gain recognition.
The entries and jury to this competition were divided in two categories—integrated and media. The call for entry activity for the Young Spikes competition were covered via print media with a 3-week long print campaign in the Times Of India, Economic Times and Brand Equity. Its on ground activities were planned across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore while the digital buzz was created via social media campaigns and weekly emailers.
The winning team won a fully paid trip to Singapore to participate in the Young Spikes Competition. The winners from the ‘Integrated’ category included Mohit Pasricha and Rajani Kumari from Lowe Lintas, Gurugram. The winners from the ‘Media’ category included Avinash Pandey and Nivita Pavithran from Mindshare.
